About the Role 

Clarvida is seeking a School Clinician to support students in our alternative school placement program serving elementary through high school students. You will provide individual and group counseling, complete clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, support behavior intervention, collaborate with caregivers, and implement skill-building curriculum. 

In this role, you will work closely with students, families, school staff, and community partners to support IEP and behavioral goals. Clinicians build trusting therapeutic relationships and equip students with strategies to manage challenges related to emotional, behavioral, and environmental stressors. You will also respond to crises, help de-escalate situations, provide education on triggers and interventions, and utilize CPI techniques when necessary. 

Responsibilities 

● Provide individual and group counseling to students ● Complete assessments and develop treatment plans ● Support IEP and behavior goals in collaboration with school staff ● Implement skill-building curriculum ● Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and CPI when required ● Collaborate with families and external partners ● Maintain accurate documentation and case records 

Required Qualifications 

● Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field ● Trauma, CBT, NCC, or DBT credentials preferred but not required ● Desire to support at-risk youth in an alternative school setting ● Able to pass background and criminal record checks ● Compliance with drug-free workplace rules ● Meets mandated health requirements (e.g., negative tuberculosis test) ● Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
