Physical Therapist (PT) | PRN | Inpatient Hospital | Winchester, KY

Join H2 Health as a PRN Physical Therapist (PT) and become part of our hospital-based rehabilitation team at Centerpoint Health – Winchester. Through H2 Health’s partnership with the hospital, our clinicians provide inpatient rehabilitation services directly within the hospital setting, giving you the stability of an established clinical team with the growth opportunities and support of H2 Health.

This flexible PRN opportunity is a great fit for experienced Physical Therapists seeking additional clinical hours and new graduates looking to build inpatient experience.

You’ll treat a diverse adult and geriatric population with neurological conditions, stroke, orthopedic injuries, post-surgical needs, medically complex illnesses, balance impairments, and mobility limitations. You’ll also collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, case management, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology to help patients regain function and safely transition to their next level of care.

Your Role

  • Evaluate mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional performance
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based Physical Therapy plans of care
  • Provide gait training, transfer training, balance activities, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility interventions
  • Help patients improve safety, independence, and confidence
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospital care team
  • Educate patients and caregivers and support safe discharge planning
  • Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Kentucky Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Kentucky licensure
  • CPR certification, if applicable
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
  • New graduates are welcome to apply; previous inpatient experience is not required
