Responsibilities:Â
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport and deliver FedEx packages along assigned routes
- Load, unload, and organize packages for efficient daily route completion
- Scan and track packages using FedEx delivery technology and handheld devices
- Obtain customer signatures and confirm accurate delivery of parcels
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready delivery vehicle
Requirements:
Â
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet daily delivery deadlines
- Familiarity with the Windsor, CT area and surrounding communities is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physical outdoor environments
- Previous delivery, logistics, or driving experience preferred
