Job Description
Summary, Role: Take orders and make the drinks for the patrons and servers. Ring in drinks properly, keep bar stocked and clean balance drawer.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Make and serve drinks to patrons or cocktail servers timely
- Â Collects payment
- Ring in drinks made properly on POS systemÂ
- Balance drawer
- Keep bar and mixing area clean
- Verify age by requiring identification
- Customer service focus; checking on guests, not overserving intoxicated guests
Requirements (KSA’s) Previous bartending experience (at least one year), ability to work in fast-paced environment, familiar with point-of-sale systems,
Calm demeanor, ability to recognize when a person has reached their limitÂ
Education, certificates: Alcohol Serving card required in some jurisdictions
Physical requirements: Must be able to lift and move cases of beer and keg,Â
- Standing up to 8 hours per shift.
- Walking up to 8 hours a day.Â
- Bending, stooping, reaching, stretching and kneelingÂ
- Must be able to be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, loud noise, dust, cigarette/cigar smoke
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands
Pay Range: Minimum wage plus tips
