Summary:

The Traditional Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading national sales and account management for traditional accounts across the United States, while managing and developing a team of inside sales associates. This role involves executing sales and marketing strategies, servicing and supporting Niterra accounts, conducting sales calls, and serving as a liaison between the factory and customers. The ideal candidate brings strong sales leadership, aftermarket experience, and a proven ability to drive sales volume, profitability, and marketing objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead national sales and account management responsibilities for traditional accounts throughout the United States.
  • Manage, coach, and provide direction to inside sales associates, including establishing priorities, monitoring performance, supporting professional development, and ensuring alignment with sales and business objectives.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of sales and account management activities, ensuring effective execution of strategies, priorities, and customer initiatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of servicing and supporting Niterra accounts.
  • Participate in strategic planning and business review meetings with customers and Account Management leadership.
  • Conduct regular sales calls with established accounts, both in person and by telephone.
  • Serve as a liaison between the factory and customers, coordinating communication and resolving issues as needed.
  • Represent Niterra North America at the APSG headquarters and at the member level.
  • Process customer orders for Niterra products as needed.
  • Complete required documentation, reports, and other administrative paperwork related to sales and account activities.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans, including accurate product forecasts.
  • Gather and promptly communicate competitive market intelligence to Sales & Marketing Headquarters.
  • Manage activities and expenditures within established budget parameters.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events, including setting up booths, distributing promotional materials, and responding to customer inquiries about Niterra products.
  • Support management with additional duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established sales targets and business objectives.
  • Perform all other job-related tasks as assigned. Due to the independent nature of this position, the incumbent must perform all duties and functions associated with it.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures as applicable.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales and account management experience.
  • 5+ years of aftermarket experience, including OES and light retail.
  • Demonstrated management or team leadership experience, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop employees to achieve business and sales objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong business acumen, including business math, budgeting, and financial control.
  • Strong marketing, planning, and business development skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies that advance business and sales objectives.
  • Strong sales, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Valid state driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage an account base with a focus on sales volume, profitability, and marketing objectives.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

This role requires driving, business travel, lifting up to 40 pounds, walking, and the associated hazards of driving and commercial travel.
