Position Summary: The Engineer Manager for OWM reports to the Director of Manufacturing for OMW. Â The position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day technical activities of the department.Â

- Set-up of new part specificationsÂ
- Compliance with customer specific and special characteristic requirementsÂ
- Set up of APQP document set Â
- Development of tool set for new partsÂ
- Improvement of tool sets for existing partsÂ
- Resolution of tool replated production and quality issuesÂ
- ProcessesÂ
- Develop of new processes to facilitate introduction of additional product families.Â
- Assessment and selection of new equipmentÂ
- Design and implementation of machine modificationsÂ
- Customer IssuesÂ
- Advising on application related issues associated with customer quality concernsÂ
- Advising on specification-related issues associated with customer quality concernsÂ

Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing.Â
- Minimum 10 years’ fastener tool design experience. Â
- AIAG Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEAÂ
- IATF 16949 Internal or Lead Auditor highly preferredÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or material sciences.  Â
- Inspection, Metrology, Metallurgical Analysis Interpretation. Â
- GD&T, Print Review, Understanding and interpretation of engineering specifications (IFI, ASME, etc). Fastener experience highly preferred. Â
- Lean and Six Sigma experience Â
