We’re looking for a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at The Radcliff in Wood Dale, Illinois.

Your role
As a Prava COTA, you'll work alongside the Occupational Therapist to help residents participate in the activities that make their lives meaningful.
You'll:
Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Work with residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care
Help residents improve their ability to participate in meaningful daily activities
Address functional performance related to ADLs, IADLs, cognition, safety, coordination, strength, endurance, and mobility
Help residents develop strategies to remain as independent as possible
Adapt tasks and environments to support successful participation
Provide caregiver and resident education
Reinforce individualized treatment plans and home programs
Observe and communicate changes in resident function and clinical status
Collaborate with nursing, caregivers, families, activities, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
Support fall prevention, safety, and functional wellness initiatives
Document efficiently using Prava's technology platform and AI-enabled tools
Help create a therapy experience that feels connected to the resident's actual life
Think beyond the diagnosis.

Go to the dining room independently?
Get dressed without assistance?
Make a cup of coffee?
Participate in art class?
Garden in the greenhouse?

Return to an activity they stopped doing?

The COTA we're looking for
You are:
A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensed in Illinois
Passionate about working with older adults
Creative and adaptable
Comfortable working with varying cognitive and physical abilities
A strong communicator
A natural relationship builder
Comfortable collaborating across disciplines
Someone who sees the whole person—not simply the diagnosis
Someone who understands the importance of dignity, autonomy, and choice
Someone who believes the environment can often be part of the intervention
Someone who wants to keep learning and growing clinically
Senior living experience is preferred, but not required.
