Job DetailsJob Location: Rocky Mountain Personal Care-Utah - Woods Cross, UT 84010Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayJob Category: Health Care  Position Purpose: Planning, organizing, developing and directing overall operations of the personal care program in accordance with local, state and federal standards and regulations. Manage personal care staff along with office duties and will be responsible for marketing and growth of assigned area.    Description/Definition: The Personal Care Team Lead Interprets and communicates policies and procedures to staff, and monitors staff practices and implementation. Participates in admission decisions and performing in-person admissions. Manage visits with nurse assessments as well recertifications which includes authorizations, billing, payroll tasks and verification of Medicaid eligibility. Participates in weekly management team meetings to discuss census changes, policy changes, complaints and concerns and relays information to aides. Schedule and prepare monthly employee staff meetings to discuss any issues and provide continuing education and team building with the aides. Evaluates work performance of all aide personnel and implements discipline according to operational policies. Ensures delivery of compassionate quality care and supervision of aides in maintaining optimal client satisfaction. Oversees schedules and communicates changes with patients and staff, participates in the recruitment, hiring and termination of staff which includes new hire orientation and onboarding follow up with HR. Performs in-service education to ensure staff is competent in current knowledge and skills. Promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication. May provide direct aide care as necessary. Treats all clients with dignity and respect. Take on responsibility of an aide when there are staffing shortages. Must always maintain a professional appearance (clean professional clothing, shoes not slippers or flip flops). Qualifications  Personal Skills and Traits Desired: Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Self-motivated and organized. Must possess leadership, supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must have patience, tact and willingness to deal with difficult clients and staff. Must be comfortable with face-to-face marketing. Any/all other duties assigned by the Manager.
