About the Role:
Karing Hands Provider Services LLC is looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) — both full-time and part-time — to join our growing team in Carrollton, OH. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing meaningful, hands-on support every day. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and personal support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation
- Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
- Transport and accompany clients to appointments, community outings, and activities
- Administer medications and follow health care protocols as directed
- Foster independence, dignity, and inclusion for all individuals served
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in direct care, caregiving, or human services is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and complete required DSP training
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
