SUMMARY: The Deli Cook will provide consistently excellent food and customer service in a clean and friendly environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize Micros system to ring in orders, receive funds, and count back change. Prepare food consistently according to standard operating procedures. Maintain a clean work environment. Ensure food safety and appropriate sanitation measures are followed. Stock items applying appropriate dating and rotation principles. Operate and clean commercial restaurant equipment according to standard operating procedures. Maintain temperature logs, time logs, and waste sheets. Perform prep work as needed. Receive, use, and return a bank with appropriate paperwork daily. Other projects and duties as assigned. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: Must be 19 years of age or older. Six months of previous direct customer service and food service experience required. Skills/Knowledge: Food handlers permit preferred; ability to obtain a food handlers permit required. Strong customer service skills are required. Cashiering skills required. Must work well in a team environment. Must be skilled at multi-tasking and following detailed instructions precisely. Excellent communication skills required.
