As a part-time Barista at Fox Powersports Grand Rapids, your day-to-day expectations will revolve around creating an exceptional customer experience. You will greet customers with enthusiasm, taking their orders and offering recommendations with a smile. Mastering the art of coffee preparation, you’ll craft beverages to perfection while maintaining our high standards of taste and presentation.

You will ensure the cleanliness and organization of the café area, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Quick problem-solving skills will be essential as you handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during service. Collaborating closely with your team, you’ll engage in open communication and support one another to meet the fast-paced demands of the café.

Would you be a great Barista?

To thrive as a part-time Barista at Fox Powersports Grand Rapids, several key skills and abilities will set you up for success. Excellent customer service skills are paramount, as you will engage with customers, take orders, and handle inquiries with enthusiasm and respect. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn will help you quickly adapt to our fast-paced environment, where teamwork is crucial. Basic proficiency with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is essential, as you'll be responsible for ringing up transactions efficiently.

Familiarity with making café beverages is a plus, but fear not—on-site training will equip you with all the techniques needed. You’ll also need to stay organized and detail-oriented to manage daily open and close procedures, as well as light clerical work. Flexibility is important, as you will typically work three days a week, with the potential for additional hours based on coverage needs.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Ringing up transactions at the café
• Making beverages
• Daily open/close procedures
• Answer phones
• Sell ORV/TRAIL/SNOW permits
• Light-duty clerical work

Experience with making café beverages is a plus but not required as we will offer training on-site. This position will be scheduled to work 3 days a week and may be open to additional time based on coverage
