Sales Enablement
  • Partner closely with regional and field sales teams by providing sales tools, marketing materials, POSM, market intelligence, and relevant sales support programs.
  • Actively support Sales in driving sales volume, distribution, channel development, and customer engagement rather than operating Marketing as a standalone function.

  • Ensure each activity is aligned with commercial priorities, target audiences, and measurable business outcomes.
Promotion Management

  • Ensure promotional activities are implemented effectively, remain within approved budgets, and deliver measurable commercial impact.
Communications & Digital Marketing
  • Manage both online and offline communications as part of the overall marketing mix.
  • Use digital channels as supporting tools within an integrated marketing strategy rather than treating digital as the sole focus of the function.
Market Research & Insights
  • Build and maintain a structured market intelligence system covering customers, distributors and dealers, competitors, market policies, and relevant industry developments.
  • Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for Sales and senior management.
Budget & Marketing Effectiveness

  • Select, evaluate, and manage agencies, suppliers, printers, event organizers, and other external marketing partners.
  • Maintain appropriate service standards, cost control, and delivery quality across external partnerships.

  • Build a performance-oriented environment with clear accountability across the function.
Marketing Operations & Systems
  • Standardize marketing planning, reporting, program management, budget control, data management, and performance measurement processes.
  • Continuously improve operating systems to strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of the Marketing function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 8 years or more of Marketing experience is preferred, including hands-on experience managing a team or function. Strong candidates with slightly fewer years of experience may also be considered based on demonstrated capability.

  • Strong background in Brand Marketing, including brand positioning, brand identity, communication development, and execution across market touchpoints.
  • Ability to translate technical product characteristics into clear benefits and messages that are relevant to customers and end users.
  • Solid Trade/Channel Marketing knowledge with practical experience working through distributor, dealer, or point-of-sale networks.
  • Strong commercial mindset with a clear understanding that Marketing should contribute directly to sales volume, distribution, channel development, and customer growth.
  • Proven experience working closely with Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, and field sales teams, with the ability to effectively bridge Marketing and Sales.
  • Willingness to spend time in the market meeting sales teams, distributors, dealers, and customers rather than operating solely from the office.
  • Strong capability in budget planning, data interpretation, program evaluation, and marketing effectiveness measurement.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including objective setting, coaching, performance management, quality control, and team development.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities with the ability to work directly with senior management and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Clear, logical communication skills with the ability to present proposals, plans, and business results effectively to senior leaders.
  • Proactive, practical, decisive, and results-oriented, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage demanding timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience in the fertilizer or broader agricultural industry would be a strong advantage.
  • An established network within the relevant industry is preferred.
