Job Title: Academic Outpatient Internist

Location: Apple Hill – York, PA

Employment Type: WellSpan is currently seeking a full-time BC/BE Academic Internist to join our established practice in York.

What you can expect at your practice: 

• Outpatient IM teaching practice 
  • Mix of teaching and clinical responsibilities
  • Physician will precept WellSpan IM residents – 1:4
• Telemedicine experience required
• Monday – Friday schedule; Call Rotation consist of phone calls
• Suburban office with access to on-site lab and imaging
• Collegial group of providers that includes 8 full-time core faculty members

Qualifications

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Administrative skills.
