Job Responsibilities:
⢠Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
⢠Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities
⢠Monitor patient progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
⢠Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and proper mobility techniques
⢠Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress
⢠Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
⢠Active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in California
⢠Current BLS/CPR certification
⢠Minimum of 6 months of recent PTA experience within the last 5 years preferred
⢠Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric setting is a plus
⢠Strong communication and teamwork skills
