As a Demand Planning Intern, you will support the Demand Planning Team across a variety of initiatives. Your responsibilities will include analyzing current item performance to help build optimal forecasts and generate promotional demand projections. You’ll assist in developing initial sales forecasts for new items and create statistical reports to support category management and other merchandising teams. This internship also offers the opportunity to collaborate with category management partners on sales and data analysis to provide insights into item sales and distribution. Additionally, you will work closely with Store Ops, Distribution Center, and Transportation teams to ensure alignment between forecasted demand and inventory flow, helping to minimize residuals and optimize replenishment strategies.

Compensation: This internship offers a starting pay range of $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on academic year, qualifications, experience, and skills relevant to the role.

Qualifications
  • Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics or related field. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
