Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and associated systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, air brake, and fuel systems.
• Complete inspections and identify required repairs.
• Use diagnostic software and tools to accurately assess mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of diesel technician experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working on trucks, fleet vehicles, or heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment.
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
