Product Development Engineer – Power Supply System Calibration position offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI).  Develop electrical charging system calibration in the powertrain control module for gas engines, EVs and Hybrids (Low voltage side) including developing calibration for alternator control torque manager, engine idle stability for electrical transients, alternator voltage set point controls, and alternator diagnostics. Release the calibration into Ford system software. Support powertrain development trips for engine calibration by modifying alternator calibration to assist in meeting engine performance requirements.
