ALPHA Landscapes is seeking an all-star landscape construction superintendent.
ALPHA Landscapes is a 100% new-construction focused landscape firm working with the top general contractors and developers in the area. ALPHA Landscapes started with a pickup truck and a wheelbarrow in 2016 and has now grown into the largest commercial landscape construction firm in Iowa with top of the line trucks and equipment, and 50+ employees operating out of our Des Moines office.
This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing, yet stable company. Pay starts at $50-70k plus a company truck and benefits package outlined below. Long term earning potential of even more!
Please note: This is an important position within our company. Fit, and knowing "our" way of doing things is of the utmost importance. An outside applicant for this position may be asked to work in a field production position for a number of weeks to learn our jobsite processes before stepping fully into this role.
What does a typical day look like at ALPHA?
- Working with project managers and general superintendent to schedule installation of projects, coordinating material deliveries, and scheduling crews
- Jobsite Coordination
- Plan reading and jobsite layoutÂ
- Skid loader/equipment operation
- Onboarding/Training/developing new team members
- Reports to: General Superintendent

The ideal applicant should have the following:
- 5+ Years landscape/construction experience, with at least 3 years in a foreman position.
- Landscape/planting/hardscape/irrigation/seeding knowledge and experience
- Time management and planning skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Mechanically inclined
