Role Purpose: To safely deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner while supporting warehouse operations and ensuring high standards of service, safety, and accuracy. As a Driver, you will: Operate various delivery vehicles.  Transport products and material to and from specified destinations. Load and unload the delivery vehicle. Maintain radio contact with supervisor/leader/manager to receive delivery or pick up instructions. Check truck’s equipment and supplies to ensure road worthiness.  Notify supervisor/leader/manager of current or anticipated repairs. Collect payment for C.O.D. orders. Perform filling, checking, and packaging of orders for shipment. Aid throughout the warehouse upon request from supervisor/leader/manager. Frequently lift, carry or otherwise move and position product weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted when stocking, loading or unloading products.  Typically bend, stoop and/or crouch from various heights on a regular basis to stock or deliver product to a customer. Operate forklift: proper training and certification required. May also use material handling equipment (including pallet jack, dollies & handcart). Clean truck and maintain work area to ensure compliance to safety regulations. Assist in creating, implementing and revising work procedures and instructions. Support the quality initiatives set forth by the region.   Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Include: High school diploma or GED required. Familiarity with local driving area and previous delivery experience preferred.
